Managing your Tender process can be labour intensive and time consuming, especially when you’re dealing with multiple quotes from multiple subcontractors and suppliers across tens, hundreds, or even thousands of individual items. The administration can get overwhelming and it’s easy to make mistakes or lose information in the process.
The new Quote Submissions workflow helps centralise your work, bringing together your tender information, quotes, communications, and documentation within one platform, so you can stay organised and in control with a single source of truth.
Say goodbye to the hassle and errors of manually entering quotes and prices and welcome a faster and more efficient process with Cubit Select’s new Quote Submissions; allowing you to request, receive, and compare your subcontractor and supplier costs in one streamlined workflow.
When you invite subcontractors and suppliers in Cubit Select to quote on a tender, you can receive quotes directly in Cubit Select, submitted through a private portal that’s free for them to use and designed to help them manage all their invitations and quotes in one place.
Now you have the flexibility to share detailed items and request itemised quotes against each line item, giving you a clearer view of costs, or if you choose not to share the item breakdown with them, suppliers can submit a lump sum quote for the entire Trade Package, with any additional details or breakdowns included in their supporting documents. This makes the quoting process simple for suppliers while giving you full control over how you collect and analyse pricing.
Once submitted, the subcontractors’ and suppliers’ quote automatically appear in your Quote Comparison Grid, so it’s easier than ever to start your comparison straight away. Then you can continue with your process of selecting the rates you want to use, and bring those back into Cubit Estimating, so you have the most accurate estimate possible.
