The latest release of Cubit Estimating is now available. Cubit Estimating version 2022.1 aims to deliver a better experience when using the software.

Improved Multi-User Collaborative Workflows with Auto-Lock for Trades

Shared Job Access was added as a new feature earlier this year as a way for multiple Enterprise Network users to work in the same job, while also protecting shared data from being changed when you don’t want it to be.

Adding onto this feature, Auto-Lock has been implemented into Cubit version 2022.1. This new feature will automatically lock your trades and corresponding takeoff items when you are working on them. There’s no longer any need to manually lock trades when working on them.

Performance Improvements

In this new release of Cubit Estimating, there have been many performance improvements to allow you work faster and more efficiently within the program.

In particular, opening jobs and loading the Job Manager are now significantly quicker in this new release. You can expect loading times to be 3 – 5 times faster when compared to the previous version of Cubit Estimating. Additionally, for our Enterprise Network users there is improved speed of refreshing a job when working in shared access mode.
