Business Development Manager (London, UK)

We are looking for a talented and competitive Inside Sales Representative that thrives in a B2B sales environment. The successful candidate will be based in our London office and play a fundamental role in achieving our ambitious customer and revenue growth objectives. You must be comfortable performing online demonstrations, making multiple calls per day, generating interest, qualifying prospects and closing sales. Previous experience in a construction estimating related role would be a distinct advantage but not essential.

Responsibilities

Selling established, bespoke software for the construction industry.
Performing online demonstrations of the software to facilitate sales.
Source new sales opportunities through inbound lead follow-up and outbound prospect calls and emails
Understand customer needs and requirements
Close sales and achieve monthly quotas
Research accounts, identify key players and generate interest
Report to senior management

Requirements

Proven inside sales experience
Track record of over-achieving quota
Ability to work on your own initiative to help grow UK customer base
Strong phone presence and experience making multiple calls per day
Proficient with Microsoft office applications
Experience working with Salesforce.com or similar CRM
Excellent verbal and written communications skills
Strong listening and presentation skills
Ability to multi-task, prioritise, and manage time effectively
